Romans 8:34-36

[a] 34 Who is the one who condemns? It is Messiah,[b] who died, and moreover was raised,[c] and is now at the right hand of God and who also intercedes for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Messiah? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written,

“For Your sake we are being put to death all day long;
    we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.”[d]
